Library resources

Request new resources

Please let us know if there are books, e-books, DVDs, activity kits, or other library materials which we should purchase to enhance our collection.  To suggest a title, please complete our Suggest a Title form or email Marian Press (marian.press@utoronto.ca).

Course reserve (short term loan)

Place library items on Course Reserve to ensure that your students will all have the opportunity to complete their required readings:

  1. Drop by the Service Desk on the Ground Floor of the Library to fill out a Course Reserve Request Form, or
  2. Complete the Course Reserve Request Form online.

Films

To reserve an OISE Library film for viewing in your classroom on a specific date:

  1. Drop by the Service Desk on the Ground Floor of the Library to fill out a Faculty DVD/Video Request Form, or
  2. Complete the Film Reserve Request Form online.

Interlibrary loan and intercampus delivery

Technology loans

6 Dell laptops and 3 iPad2s are available on 4 hour loan at the Service Desk on the Ground Floor of the Library.  Please see the Laptop & iPad2 Loans page for further information.

Individual research consultations are available for both students and faculty. To book a research consultation, please complete the online form or email Pat Serafini (pat.serafini@utoronto.ca). RefWorks and Zotero support

RefWorks and Zotero are free reference management tools used to manage and share citations, and generate in-text citations and bibliographies.
