Franco-Ontarienne Collection

The material in the Collection franco-ontarienne (CFO) is principally in the areas of languages and social sciences. The CFO has over 2500 volumes of learning materials related to the teaching of French as a first language, to linguistics and sociolinguistics, and to bibliographic research regarding Franco-Ontarians as well as to their history. There are some fifty subscriptions to journals and newsletters of organizations that serve Francophone educators and Ontario Ministry of Education documents, such as curriculum guidelines and research reports.

The Collection also includes documents prepared by the Quebec government’s le Conseil de la langue francaise, l’Office québécois de la langue française, and all research papers, published (off prints) and unpublished materials produced in the Centre de recherches en éducation franco-ontarienne (CRÉFO) since 1975.
