Wayfinding study

In January 2016, the OISE Library will be inviting OISE students to participate in the second round of a study to improve signage and navigation in the OISE Library. We want to make improvements and we want your input.

We will be asking participants to walk through the library and complete several tasks that you might carry out as a part of regular library activities, such as locating books. Participants will receive a list of three tasks to complete, while taking photos along the way.  Following the photo tasks, we will be asking participants to schedule a time to come back to talk about your pictures and describe your experience. The entire process should take no more than 2 hours.

The intent of the study is to gain a user perspective of the realities of navigating the OISE Library.  We are seeking user-focused evidence for improving library space and signage. Your participation will help give us the information we need to make the library a more functional place for students, faculty, and other OISE community members.

Participants will be compensated $40.00 for their time.
