Collection overview
The OISE Library's Curriculum Resource Collection contains over 36,000 resources that support K-12 curriculum and instruction in all subject areas in the Ontario curriculum. The collection includes a variety of resources including textbooks focused on the Ontario curriculum, manipulatives, DVDS, resource kits, lesson plans and teacher's guides. The Curriculum Resources Collection also includes Ontario Curriculum documents and textbooks included in the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Trillium List.

Borrowing privileges
Curriculum Resource materials may only be borrowed by current UofT students, faculty, and staff as well as those who have alumni memberships. For borrowing privileges, please see Loan services.
Finding resources
Find items in the Curriculum Resources Collection by searching the library catalogue and refining results to "OISE Library" and then "Curriculum Resources". Many of the manipulatives in the Curriculum Resources collection are included in the OISE Library K-12 Manipulatives Database.

Scope of collection
Chronological Coverage: The collection includes materials from the 1970s onward and textbooks authorized for use in Ontario since 2002.
Geographical Coverage: Materials from the collection come from Canada and other English speaking countries including the US, UK and Australia.
Language: Primarily English with resources on teaching French as a first or additional language. We are also building a collection of teaching materials published in First Nations, Inuit, and Métis languages.
Format: The collection contains a variety of formats including monographs, DVDs, kits, hands-on manipulatives, over-sized materials, and puppets.
Collection Strengths: Ontario textbooks, Canadian material.
