Book a Mezzanine Level study room
- Mezzanine study rooms are bookable by any current University of Toronto students, staff, and faculty.
- Individual study rooms are bookable for one person bookings. Group rooms are bookable for a minimum of two people (M40 and M42 are bookable for at least three people). Double rooms are bookable for two people only.
- Once you have booked a study room, you must present your TCard at the OISE Library Service Desk to pick up your room key. For double and group rooms, the minimum number of people must be present with their TCards at the time of picking up the key (e.g., two people for M34, three people for M40).
- Keys must be returned at the Service Desk at least 15 minutes before library closing time.
Book a Concourse Level study room
- Concourse study rooms are bookable by any current University of Toronto students, staff, and faculty.
- These rooms are bookable for a minimum of two people only.
- Once you have booked a study room, you must present two TCards at the OISE Library Service Desk to pick up your room key. Two people must be present with their TCards at the time of picking up the key.
- Keys must be returned at the Service Desk at least 15 minutes before library closing time.
Study room policies
- You can book a study room online up to two weeks in advance using your UTORid and password.
- You will receive an email confirming your booking.
- Present your TCard to OISE Library Service Desk staff to pick up a key for your study room.
- Mezzanine and Concourse Level rooms are intended for scholarly, unpaid, individual or group activities. They are not to be used as a place of business.
- While talking is permitted in the study rooms, we ask that patrons please respect other library users in the vicinity. The study rooms are not sound-proof, so excessive noise levels will disturb other library users.
- Covered beverages are permitted in the rooms but food is not.
- Rooms can be booked a maximum of four hours per day.
- Keys must be returned at the Service Desk at least 15 minutes before library closing time.
- Late fees will be applied for keys that are not returned on time. A replacement fee will be charged for lost keys.
- The University of Toronto Libraries are not responsible for any loss or damage of items left unattended in the rooms.
- Commercial activities are not permitted.
Book a meeting room (3-138)
- The meeting room can be requested by current UofT extracurricular student groups who need to book a consistent space throughout the term to help support their student group mission. It is not intended as a study space. This room is bookable for a minimum of three people.
- Once you receive confirmation of your booking, present three TCards to OISE Library Service Desk staff to pick up the room key. Three people must be present with their TCards at the time of picking up the key.
- Key must be returned and TCard collected at the Service Desk at least 15 minutes before closing time or end of booked time.

Meeting room policies
- The meeting room is intended for scholarly and unpaid group activities. Commercial activities are not permitted.
